To my dear best friend

When the sun rises up to the sky
You’re beside me
When the sky turns grey
You’re beside me
You have been there for me every time I fall
And you have helped me get up on my feet
I cry, you listen
We fight, but only for a while
Because your jokes and smile could always make the day better
I know I haven’t said this a lot
But, thank you
Thank you for always being there
This time, I’ll listen to your every worry and story
I’ll cheer you up with my cheesy jokes
I’ll try to be there for you every time you need me
I’ll try to be the best best friend you have ever had
Because you’re the best best friend I have ever had

Where I am

City lights shine bright,
From the hills they are like stars,
Stars that are down below,
The noise of car engines and people rushing,
Can be heard from up here,
Up here is where I live,
Peace and quiet is what I get,
Sunrise and sunsets are what I see,
The coldness of the air in the morning is what I feel,
I may sound like I am bored with this life,
It may be true,
It may be not,
I may envy the city lights that shine,
And I may envy the busy streets they have,
But here, is where I am now,
I will cherish the sunrise and sunsets,
I will cherish the peace and quiet,
And I will cherish the cold air,
Because in many years to come,
I may not know where I'll be,
Maybe I'll be where the city lights stand.

Alive

Running out of breath
She stumbles on to the ground
The shadows are getting closer and closer
It’s going to take her away
Away, deeper into the woods
where no one could hear her wails
I try to help
But it seems no one can hear or see me
I’m invisible
She is now dragged
But as I see her face closer and closer
I realize she is me
The girl is me
The one dragged by the dark shadows, is me
I try to fight it, but nothing is working
It’s like a really bad nightmare
But just as I was thinking that
I stumble off my bed
Relieved to wake up in my bed
I run out of my room
Feeling all alive

Stars

Twinkling stars in the night sky,
So beautifully arranged,
Feels calming,
As the night breeze brush past my shoulders,
Cold, yet comforting,
The city lights shine like the stars,
If I take one star,
Will my wish come true?
I search for an answer,
But no answer is said,
Oh, how I wonder every night,
Of how the stars are aligned,
To make such amazing shapes and constellations,
To make the night sky brighter,
I wish I could take one,
And keep it,
Would it be alright?

Forget you

As the sun sets and the waves crash
I remember a memory
A memory that I cannot forget
The memory of us
The memory of us playing around like little kids
The memory of us always being together
As the wind brushes through my cheeks
It reminds me of your touch
Your gentle touch
But now we are no more
As the sun sets
I try to forget
As the waves crash
I try to wipe the tears I cry for us
As the day gets older
And night comes
I try to let go of you
Even if my heart feels like it’s broken into a million pieces
I try to forget our memories

The nature that I am

Tall trees around buildings and a court
Wind calmly blowing through the leaves
Green leaves dancing around
Rain pouring down the red roofs
Nothing is better than seeing nature being itself
The green leaves are like the young people
The young people who dance through the raindrops
The leaves that are brown are just like a dying dream
But with the calm whispers of the wind
I see and hope for the best
Like nature that grows and blooms
We are both alike
Made beautiful by the hands of God
We are the same
The sound of the water hitting the ground
Is like the sound of myself falling into a big hole
And yet I get up again
Just like a splash of water on the ground or grass
Buildings with rooftops to secure me of any danger
It feels comfortable
The branches or trunks of the trees grows and grows
Just like the goals I have for my own sake
Nothing is better than looking out of the window
And seeing nature grow as it is

A girl

In the darkness of the room
No voice or sound of anything or anyone
The air becomes chilly as time passes by
A girl, a girl then appeared
She was running and screaming for help
All I can do is watch
The shadows getting closer to her
Wanting to catch the poor girl
I know that her death is nearing
She is out of breath
I’m transported
Trees trying to talk
Branches brushes against each other as the wind passes
It’s night time
The moon shines brightly
But no stars to be seen
A scream is heard
The girl, the girl is screaming
She fell, and she knew it was her end
She shut her eyes
When she did, a light appeared
A hand was given to her
She was saved
But I’m not, for my case it was too late
